Minister Justine Nameere has said that she and her team will not be intimidated as they continue their campaign against corruption and poor service delivery across the country.
Nameere said their efforts are aimed at exposing corruption and ensuring that government programmes benefit the intended citizens.
She stated that the campaign has received support from senior leaders, including Chief of Defence Forces Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
“We are working on Gen Muhoozi’s orders to fight corruption. No one will stand in our way,” Nameere said.
The minister said they are determined to continue visiting different areas to listen to citizens’ complaints and identify challenges affecting service delivery.
According to Nameere, corruption remains one of the biggest obstacles preventing government programmes from achieving their goals.

She said officials who misuse public resources or frustrate citizens should be held accountable.
Nameere has been part of a campaign alongside Minister Balaam Barugahara aimed at exposing alleged corruption and failures in public institutions.
The two leaders have toured several parts of the country, where they have confronted officials accused by residents of poor service delivery.
Nameere said the campaign is focused on protecting government resources and restoring public trust.
She insisted that those involved in corruption should not expect protection because the fight will continue.
The minister said their work is guided by the desire to ensure that ordinary Ugandans benefit from government initiatives.
She added that they will continue engaging communities to understand the challenges they face.
Nameere’s remarks come amid increased government attention on corruption, especially within local governments and public programmes.
President Yoweri Museveni recently praised Nameere and Balaam Barugahara for their efforts in exposing corruption-related complaints from citizens.

The President said corruption contributes to public dissatisfaction and affects the success of government projects.
Nameere said the support they have received has encouraged them to continue with their mission.
She warned public officials against misusing their positions or demanding money from citizens seeking government services.
The minister maintained that no threats or criticism will stop them from carrying out their duties.
She said the campaign will continue until corruption is reduced and government programmes are properly implemented.
Nameere concluded that their goal is to serve Ugandans and ensure accountability in public service.
