King Ceasor Augustus Mulenga, the founder and proprietor of King Ceasor University, has reached a new academic milestone after graduating with a Master of Science in Marketing from Makerere University. The achievement was celebrated during the university’s 76th graduation congregation, placing him among the latest cohort of postgraduate scholars.
Known primarily for his leadership in business and higher education, King Ceasor stepped back into the role of student to pursue advanced studies in marketing. His accomplishment reflects not only personal ambition but also a belief in continuous education, regardless of status or professional standing.
While addressing fellow graduates, he expressed pride in completing the program and congratulated others who shared the milestone. He encouraged them to confidently embrace the next chapter of their journeys, reminding them that earning a degree is both a reward and a responsibility.
He also used the moment to acknowledge the role of national leadership in expanding educational opportunities across Uganda. He extended appreciation to President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, First Lady Janet Museveni, and the National Resistance Movement administration for policies aimed at strengthening access to schooling.
In particular, he highlighted the liberalisation of the education sector and the introduction of Universal Primary Education (UPE) and Universal Secondary Education (USE) as transformative reforms. According to him, these initiatives have opened doors for countless Ugandans, creating pathways that were once out of reach.
For a university founder to graduate from the country’s oldest and most respected public institution carries symbolic significance. It demonstrates humility and reinforces the idea that leadership in education must be grounded in firsthand academic experience.
The news of his graduation quickly gained traction online, with many supporters praising his determination and discipline. Observers described his achievement as a strong statement about lifelong learning and leading by example.
By earning this master’s degree, King Ceasor has shown that education is a journey without an expiration date. His story serves as a reminder that growth continues for those willing to challenge themselves, regardless of how far they have already climbed.
