The Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA) has announced its role as a Silver Sponsor for the 101st Rotary District Conference, widely known as DISCON 101, reinforcing its commitment to strategic partnerships and community development.
The high-profile conference is scheduled to take place from April 16 to April 18, 2026, at the prestigious Imperial Resort Beach Hotel in Entebbe, bringing together Rotary leaders, partners, and stakeholders from across the region.
The event will further build momentum toward the 7th All Africa Rotary Zone 22 Institute, set for September 29 to October 3, 2026, at Speke Resort Munyonyo in Kampala, under the inspiring theme “Africa Rising, Grow to Serve.”
Speaking during a briefing held at Fountain Palace & Suites, UCAA’s Principal Public Affairs Officer, Mr. Kenneth Otim, emphasized that the sponsorship reflects the Authority’s dedication to strengthening institutional partnerships and advancing Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.
He noted that UCAA continues to prioritize collaborations that foster meaningful community impact and support development-oriented platforms such as Rotary.
Among its ongoing engagements, UCAA has also strengthened ties with Rotary through initiatives such as hosting the Rotary Club of Kampala Uptown for a vocational visit in January 2026, among other collaborative activities.
These engagements underscore a shared vision between UCAA and Rotary to promote service-driven leadership, professional exchange, and community upliftment across Uganda and beyond.
As preparations intensify for DISCON 101 and the upcoming continental institute, both organizations are positioning themselves at the forefront of partnerships that aim to inspire growth, service, and regional integration.
