Ugandan dancehall star Alexander Bagonza, popularly known as A Pass, has announced plans to stage his highly anticipated concert at Kololo Airstrip in 2027, setting his sights on one of the country’s biggest entertainment venues.
The singer revealed the development through his social media platforms, where he teased fans about what they should expect from the upcoming musical showcase. Although he did not disclose the exact date, ticket prices, or other event details, he promised that more information would be released in due course.
A Pass becomes the latest Ugandan artiste to choose Kololo as the stage for a major career celebration, following successful performances by singers such as Ray G and King Saha, who recently attracted large crowds at the iconic venue.
The “Wuuyo” hitmaker expressed confidence that his concert will draw a massive audience, describing it as an opportunity to create a memorable experience unlike his previous shows.
In a bold statement, A Pass said fellow artistes who wish to be part of the concert will have to contribute financially, unlike previous events where musicians often appeared as guests without paying.
The singer explained that the event will not only focus on entertainment but will also serve as a platform where other artistes can learn and gain inspiration from his approach to building a successful music brand.
A Pass has built a reputation as one of Uganda’s most creative performers, known for blending dancehall, reggae, and Afrobeat influences while also using his platform to comment on issues affecting the music industry.
As anticipation begins to build, fans are waiting for more details about the 2027 concert, which could become another major milestone in A Pass’ journey and add to the growing list of memorable shows hosted at Kololo Airstrip.
