Ugandan rapper Rabadaba has responded to people on social media who have been questioning his financial status, insisting that many do not know his background and the kind of life he was raised in.
The musician said some Ugandans have wrongly concluded that he is broke, yet he comes from a financially stable family and was given a good foundation from childhood.
Rabadaba explained that before becoming a public figure, he was already raised in a comfortable environment where his parents provided him with a good upbringing and quality education.
“I was raised from a rich family. I grew up in a fenced house. I went to expensive schools. My parents were so rich,” Rabadaba said while responding to his critics.
The rapper revealed that he attended Kampala Parents School during his early education, describing it as part of the opportunities he received while growing up.
He added that he later completed his secondary education at Green Hill Academy before joining Makerere University, where he pursued his bachelor’s degree.

According to Rabadaba, his educational journey and childhood experiences show that he was not someone who came from a struggling background as some people have assumed.
He said many people only judge celebrities based on their current public image without taking time to understand their history, family background and personal achievements.
The rapper insisted that his life story is proof that he has always been surrounded by opportunities and support from his family.
He further explained that being quiet about personal achievements does not mean someone is failing or struggling financially.
Rabadaba said some social media users are quick to spread rumours about celebrities without knowing the realities behind their lives.
The musician has been facing criticism from some sections of the public who claimed that his career had slowed down and that he was financially struggling.
However, he dismissed those claims, saying people should do proper research before making conclusions about someone’s life.
He said his upbringing, education and family background played an important role in shaping the person he is today.
Rabadaba became one of Uganda’s recognised musicians after making a name for himself through rap music and several popular songs.

Over the years, he has remained a familiar figure in Uganda’s entertainment industry despite changes in the music scene.
The rapper said success should not only be judged by what people display on social media because many successful people choose to live private lives.
He urged Ugandans to avoid judging others based on assumptions and instead focus on facts before making public statements.
Rabadaba maintained that he knows his journey, his achievements and the background he comes from despite what critics say online.
The singer’s remarks have sparked conversations among fans, with some supporting his message that people should not quickly label others without knowing their full story.
For Rabadaba, the criticism has become an opportunity to remind the public that his life story goes beyond social media opinions.
