Motivational speaker and social activist Bryan White has resurfaced with a strong emotional message, saying he risked his life for President Museveni’s government but today feels abandoned and unprotected. His statements have triggered fresh debate about the treatment of individuals who once worked closely with the state.
Speaking in a recorded message, Bryan White reminded the public of his role in Northern Uganda, where he claims he helped disarm rebels using dialogue and persuasion. According to him, he was able to convince several fighters to drop their weapons without using force — an effort he believes should have earned him national honor.

Bryan White said he expected recognition, appreciation, and protection from the government for the work he did. Instead, he now feels isolated. He said that despite his sacrifices, he has been left alone at a time when he needs support the most.
The socialite accused what he called “mafias inside government” of working tirelessly to destroy his reputation. He claimed these individuals are connected to General Muhoozi Kainerugaba and see him as a threat because he has influence and a strong connection with the youth.
According to Bryan White, these powerful groups blocked all his attempts to meet President Museveni and explain the challenges he has been facing. He said each time he tried to reach out for help, people close to the system shut down every opportunity.
He also said these same individuals went as far as feeding rebels with false information about him. Bryan White claims they told the former fighters that he received money from President Museveni and used it for himself after convincing them to surrender — a rumor he strongly denies.
Bryan White said such lies were meant to turn both the public and the rebels against him, making it appear as if he betrayed the cause he once championed. He said these actions were aimed at isolating him and destroying any future political or social influence he might have.
Despite the allegations, Bryan White insisted that he still respects the President. He said his frustration is not with Museveni, but with those who control access to him. He believes the President may not even know the truth about what he has gone through.

His emotional message has stirred mixed reactions across Uganda. Some people believe Bryan White is telling the truth about internal government power struggles, while others think he is trying to regain public sympathy after years of silence and controversy.
Whether his claims will attract the attention of President Museveni or lead to further investigations remains unclear. But one thing is certain — Bryan White has reopened a conversation about loyalty, power, and betrayal within Uganda’s political system, and the country is already paying attention.
